Description of the picture
The still life is based on the feelings i had reading Hemingway's story «Islands in the Stream». Even though it was in my school years, it went with me for many years until it transformed into gouache-painted wine bottles, pasted-up pieces of newspaper, canvases, and matches. It's beige tones with theatrical «coins». Somewhere it's realism, somewhere it's scenery
