Born on December 30, 1963, in Dimitrov, Ulianovsk region, Russia.

Education:

1979-1983 - Art School of K.A. Savitskiy (sculpture), Penza.

1983-1990 - Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (sculpture).

A member of National Artists' Union of Ukraine since 1993.

2002 - The second prize at the All-Ukrainian contest «Sculpture-2002» (work «The Archer and muse»).

2003 - Diploma of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts for participation in the International symposium of sculpture.

2004 - Winner of the creative award of the Kharkiv City Council «For creation of highly artistic works in the field of sculpture».

Mr. Sbitnev is the author of many sculpture awards, including:

«Golden Age» (All-Ukrainian contest on the best television program), «Golden Wave» (regional contest on the best TV and radio program), «Golden George», «Saint Michaeh «Georgian Ribbon» (International contest on the best television program about the law protection matters), «Waterparade» (International design contest) and many others.

The author's works can be found in museums of Ukraine, the Berlin Wall Museum (Germany), as well as in private and corporate collections in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, USA.
