Born in 1955, Alexander Fedotov was a renowned Russian painter who left a lasting legacy in the world of landscape art. He graduated with honors from the Ryazan Art College in 1975 and the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov in 1983, where he studied under the renowned master D.K. Mochalsky. From 1983 to 1986, he further honed his skills at the creative workshop of the Academy of Arts in Kazan under the guidance of H.A. Yakupov.

Fedotov's artistic excellence lay in his mastery of landscape painting.
