Gennady Ivanovich Luchinin was born in 1948 in the village of Lebyazhye on the Vyatka river in the Kirov region, where he still lives.
In 1975, he received a special art education in Moscow.
In 1985 and 1995, he graduated from two Universities in Nizhny Novgorod with the qualifications "political scientist"and " Manager".
He has been participating in exhibitions since 1967.
