«Khrushchevka» assemblage

The «Khrushchevka» assemblage is a unique author's work using three-dimensional details and whole objects. It is a one-of-a-kind piece. It is dedicated to the theme of Soviet standard panel or brick residential buildings, named after Nikita Khrushchev, during whose reign their mass construction began in the USSR. Only original Soviet objects are used. It has a wall-mounting bracket.
Hakaro is a contemporary Russian artist. Recently, he became interested in a new trend in contemporary art called upcycling (from the English «upcycling», that is, the reuse of materials and things and giving them new functionality.which involves the transformation of old, outdated goods into new art objects.
