Leshchev Viktor Leonidovich, born in 1960
, has been a member of the Vladimir branch of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1995.
He was born in Dzerzhinsk, Gorky region. He received his art education at the Higher School of Economics in Dzerzhinsk, at the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Pedagogical Institute of Vladimir, at a private studio of drawing and painting in Moscow, where he acquired professional skills in fine art. In the studio, the training was conducted under the guidance of M.N. Grebenkov using the method of P.P.Chistyakov. Hence the love for classical examples of realistic art.
Viktor Leshchev is an associate professor at the All-Russian State University. Conducts special disciplines: easel composition, painting and drawing in the departments of fine arts and restoration.
He works mainly in oil painting, watercolor, and acrylic techniques. The artist's creative range is wide: landscape, portrait, still life, genre.
Participant of exhibitions of various levels: regional, regional, All-Russian, and foreign.
Today, some of the artist's works are valuable exhibits in many private collections in Russia and abroad. His paintings are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Ukraine, and Russia.
