Hakaro is a contemporary Russian artist. Recently, he became interested in a new trend in contemporary art called upcycling (from the English «upcycling», that is, the reuse of materials and things and giving them new functionality.which involves the transformation of old, outdated goods into new art objects. Upsycling as a way of creating works of art is primarily an alternative to traditional art forms. Modern society has become addicted to consumerism, unaware that the planet's resources are finite. The concept of Hakaro is that objects that are not recycled for various reasons can be turned into works of art, giving them a second life and transforming them into functional items and decorative elements in modern interiors.
