9 lanes of hell by Dasti
Description of the artwork
The picture is double, as can be seen from the photo, you can flip it over and the inner plot will change.
I came across a film about Botticelli a long time ago, I was interested in the story of the work «Map of Hell», I watched it and was very impressed!
I got into my head and decided to try to portray my thoughts in just such a creative direction. The designs and characters are certainly not the same, but as I can. Although the point was to depict his vision of hell, in a modern and personal sense.
In general, the main shape was an hourglass (you can see its clear shape), which refers to the fact that time is an important thing in life.
You don't always understand certain things right away.
From bottom to top (1 is where the «triangles» are)
1. Fear.
I tried to depict it as glass, with sharp edges that are difficult to step on. (Some projects, a new direction in creativity, thoughts of «what if it doesn't work,» etc.)
2. Lack of concentration.
Spraying on something you see. After all, you often want to try something new right away without completing what you started.
3. The depth of the thoughts embedded in the picture.
There are a lot of them, sometimes looking at them, I realize only after a while that there are a lot more of them than at the beginning.
4. External factors.
What is happening to me, the events and the people around me. In general, energy is always different, but there is a separate post about actions.
5. Misunderstanding.
It's probably more about what I'd like to convey, but for you to understand the complexity of artistic language. It started with the fact that at exhibitions I was asked why such a name and what was depicted, and I said that it was necessary to stir up the imagination.
6. Excessive visualization.
It's about how visual perception deteriorates with such an abundance of graphic information that now surrounds everyone. There are a lot of pictures and videos going through your eyes, and it's rare that you focus on anything in particular.
7. Not serious.
That's all the giggles. No, I understand, a sense of humor is very important (personally, I also welcome blackmail), but sometimes it hinders growth so much ...
8. Narrow-mindedness.
A limited one-lane road in the head. I'm trying to push the boundaries of made and imagined.
9. The eternal stream of thoughts and unnecessary junk.
Thinking ahead to the eternal old past, but I forget about the present
I'm trying to describe it so that it's understandable, but to rock my imagination!
