The blooming garden of the ancient Alexandrino estate

Description of the picture

The painting was painted from life, in May 2024. The painting depicts the flowering of an apple orchard in the ancient Alexandrino estate. Alexandrino, or Chernyshev's cottage in another way, is an amazing place within the boundaries of St. Petersburg, one of the few noble estates located along the Peterhof highway, which has survived to the present day. A wonderful park has been preserved at the manor. This park is especially good in May, when apple and pear trees bloom in it. It was during this period that I visited the estate to paint a series of paintings with flowering trees. Here is one of these paintings.
