The historical «understudy» of Arbat, Sivtsev Vrazhek, is the longest among the Arbat lanes. In the 15th and 16th centuries, it was part of the road to Smolensk, stretching for almost a kilometer. The end of summer in Moscow, sunny, even hot. The beauty of the motif fascinates: the historical building looks as one with the modern one. It's rare to see something like this. I tried to convey the rhythm of the sunspots, the color of the shadows, the relative emptiness of the summer city, the mood and feelings of this place I love.
