Mont-Modit - Cursed Mountain.
In 2012, nine climbers died as a result of an avalanche while climbing to its summit. Despite the fact that the weather forecast did not foretell any likelihood of an avalanche. But the peak acquired its name long before that.
This original painting is executed in acrylic paints on a canvas with a stretcher frame, using textured paste to create a rock-like effect.
Edges of the canvas are also painted to complete the overall look.
