Pearl of the Pamirs
Description of the picture
One of the largest high-mountain lakes in Central Asia appeared at the beginning of the 20th century as a result of a collapse of rocks. The emerging natural dam blocked the river's path, and the resulting bowl of the future lake began to slowly fill with water.
This is an original painting produced with acrylic paints over a stretched canvas. Edges of the canvas are also painted to complete the overall effect.
