Still life with a bouquet of forget-me-nots

Still life with forget-me-nots was painted in 2020, May, the weather is controversial- then spring, then winter, then summer.. the forget-me-nots have already blossomed, they already smell gently, basking near the willow tree in the warm sun yesterday.. today they found themselves under the cold fallen snow, and so I went to rescue them.. having collected a bouquet of frozen forget-me-nots, I put them in a cute crystal vase and decided to paint them. After all, spring is so short this year, and these fragile charming forget-me-nots fade so quickly.. And I also really wanted to convey on this small canvas the texture of the selected materials - crystal, porcelain, paper openwork napkin, and delicate live forget-me-nots..
