Description of the picture
In my childhood I liked the expression «the blue stocking». Then I couldn't even imagine that it could be painted negatively. In this artwork I decided to portray a woman, obtaining mockery from the patriarchal society for being inconsistent to the standards of beauty and indifferent to the values of marriage.
