Our world is volatile, unstable. The randomness of any fact of personal and social life can shake the inner foundations of each person. Everything flows, changes, slips away, like sand seeps through your fingers. In the allegorical work «Time of Change» this process is expressed through an hourglass.
People are afraid of time, and time is afraid of the pyramids. Therefore, the author's appeal to the Egyptian theme is fully justified: the pyramid, the unfading image of Nefertiti, over which time does not dominate. The course of time is expressed through swinging pendulums and other elements of a mechanical clock.
Although they are perceived as symbols of inexorable time, this is not quite so: the clock only counts it, but before its power they are helpless. Clear signs of destruction by time are seen very clearly on them. To start positive changes in your life, you need to be very sensitive, otherwise the whiff of the wind of change can pass by.
