Linocut

Linocut is one of the most popular printmaking techniques, in which the form is cut on linoleum or other polymer base, and then is impressed onto paper. Linoleum was first used as an artistic material for engraving in 1905 by the German artists’ group known as "The Bridge". Linocut allows painters to use color printing, perform work quickly and use large paper format.
