Gouache is a water-soluble paint, produced on the glue foundation. This technique can be used not only on paper, but also on primed canvas, fabric, plywood or cardboard surfaces. The range of using gouache is very wide: in decorative painting to create a variety of sketches and to draw them in color. Gouache dries quickly enough, and the less saturated color rendition of the paint allows to make some changes to the drawing, for example, lightening or darkening the tones in thepicture.
